Blog Update - At Last

This is one long update people. Sorry for it taking such a long time to update. But i have been very busy with holidays/work/women/drinking and the newly formed experience of school. Now a brief update on what happened in my school holidays. First off was a nice period of relaxing, and really doing nothing. I was working most days, people in school never dreamed of. But i do like working, i enjoy my job. Most people in the world hate their jobs, but i enjoy my job, as its always a challenge and new ways of fixing/building/bodging jobs always. So my working week was great. Now back onto my blog update.

First off was Amsterdam, now i actually wasnt in Amsterdam, but it is like 30 mins in the train away, but it still is worth mentioning. Beverwijk is a nice town, located near the sunny beaches along the coast of Holland. It is located HERE, provided with this map. So the place Beverwijk was my place of staying. Thanks to the people i was staying with! Maybe we should go to the local pub, The Button Club, and see the very nice bar lady, who was also a member of the Scottish Community. The shops are pretty good, with a massive street, with the usual authentic resturants and the two main "Coffeeshops" (i.e. Hash Cafes). The locals seem to love these shops, but "Splif" seems to be more respectable, and "Life" seems to have loads of trouble.
5 days in Beverwijk was amazing, and i didnt touch a computer at all. It was amazing, the peace, the views, the buildings, and of course the beach.
On the Friday we went on a tour of Amsterdam. What a tour it was, i met so many new pubs, and of course we did the "traditional" tour in the boat of Amsterdam. The tour was really interesting, and it seems to be that everyone knows the famous areas of Amsterdam. Even the Maps have the Red Light District listed on the maps, which was very cool. It made it even easier to find the windows, to see the ladies. The Red Light District, was well, eye opening. There is windows everywhere you can imagine, along one street is the main part, and all the women wear bikini's in these windows. When the women are busy, being rented, or maybe in the next window with their friend, they close the curtain over, and you know either they are busy, or aint there. Now we saw all sorts of men and women approaching these doors, but we never went near them, only looked. After this we found an Irish pub, with a happy hour, of buy one and get one free, on the Heineken pints. Three words sum up this time. Drank to much.
The next day was a trip to the beach, and the beach was brilliant. There was a footvolley tournament on and the sport is pretty good. Yet again, because of the Scottish tops we were wearing, we got free drinks. But the day was topped off by meeting Authur Newman, and his company of former footballing friends in the Scottish League. Also the party after the footvolley was pretty good aswell.
Well that about sums up my brief visit to Amsterdam and Beverwijk. It was good, and i did so much, such as go back into Amsterdam, but ill continue with my other holiday adventures.

Liverpool was next on the agenda, after two weeks of being back home, and working my self into major cash funds. We left from the airport and it took one hour to fly down to the Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The airport is one of the best ive been to, and as soon as you arrive you have to get acustomed with the Scouser accent. I stayed with family, so it was excellent. Now the tour of the museum at THE KOP, aka Liverpool Fc's football ground was fantastic. Never before have i seen so many trophies. Especially the 5 EUROPEAN CUPS Liverpool have won. In total Liverpool Fc has won 78 Cups, which you will find is more than Rangers, and Celtic(the two major clubs in Scotland). So there is no debate which club is better. Now the club has the Shankley Gates, and the Hillsborough Disaster memorial, still are vivid im my mind. But i also took some pictures of the KOP and other areas of Anfield. Which i may post up in the future.
I also met a close friend when i was their, and it was brilliant. So thanks to the lovely lady i met when i was down there. What a great day i had spending time with you, and thanks for the brilliant tour, so i could see all the places i went as a child. It brought back so many memories.

Next i went home after 5 days in Liverpool and what a great time i had, on both of my holidays in Amsterdam/Beverwijk, and in Liverpool.

The next week was filled with me working, and then preparing my school stuff for the Scottish Schools returning.

But i must give a massive HELLO, to the girl i spent most of my time with during the last two weeks of summer. Thanks so much for being such a good friend, and also more. I hold you dearly to my heart, and the times we are spending together is great, and i hope it lasts. So when do you next want to go to Campus, to recieve our weekly £1.50 alcoholic beverages?

Well thats me for another week.
