February Update Part 1

This month has been interesting.

Many things has happened and its been a very strange month indeed for myself and most of the community around me

.

First off i must appologise for the down time during the early part of this month(ie January to February), A refresher for anyone just now finding the site: the server on which Rctempire is hosted on got very upset and decided to corrupt all the data on its (RAID-mirrored) hard-drives. This also affected the backups, but thankfully i keep a weekly backup so it was pefectly fine. Sadly some sites did not survive to well. Sorry to the lads over at PeerWeb aswell as NextPeer. Their whole communities have been pretty much hit badly and its not looking good for the data of PeerWeb at all.

 

Also which has happened is school Prelims, basically wee exams which show you how your coping with subjects and are vital in purposes of appeal. If you fail a prelim then you really need to consider keeping the course on, this has led to many of my fellow peers dropping subjects. I did not bad in my prelims and its looking very good for my final exams in may of this year.

 

During this period of prelims, there was a very unexpected tragedy, i must pull your attention to this TRIBUTE PAGE for one of the people in my year of school. Sadly and unexpectedly James Nelson, 17, was in a car crash. James never survived and it hit the community hard. James will always be know as a friendly person, with lots of potential and a great guy in general. He will be missed by so many of our year and he touched each and everyone of us in some shape or form. James we do miss you mate.

James, you were one great guy, and i speak for everyone at Williamwood, Netherlee and surrounding areas, that we will miss you lots.

February Update Part 2

Part two of this update is just about other stuff happening on the website. Hense why its in the blog updates.

 

Rctempire will be being updated more as i will have more time to update it. Also you will notice more tutorials and the humor pages will be returning for regular updates. I may even be nice and add the months that ive missed out just to make the site interesting.

 

So thats really i needed to say, so i hope you have a good month and ill see you all round about next week for another update
